Sunshine Coast Lightning 2026 Season

The Sunshine Coast Lightning ended their season in June with an unfortunate lost to the Adelaide Thunderbirds. SC finished up their season at 6th place with a 5-9 record.

This season marked the 10th year for the Lightning with some big games and nail biting moments throughout.

SC are excited to welcome some new players: Maggie Caris, Jess Anstiss, Georgia Heffernan, Olivia Wilkinson to name a few. A few players also announced their retirements: Mahalia Cassidy, Gabby Sinclair are among that list.

Sunshine Coast are building towards an even better season next year and we look forward to cheering them on.
